After growing up in neighboring Louisiana, I earned an Electrical Engineering Degree with Honors from Georgia Tech. Shortly after graduating, my wife Marguerite and I made our way to Ft Worth, where I began my 30-year career with General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin designing, testing, and supporting F-16s, F-22s, and F-35s. Our 2 children are born-and-raised Texans living in McKinney and Houston. Our daughter graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, and our son is proud to be a Fightin’ Texas Aggie. Between them, they have given us eight wonderful Texas grandkids.
When I retired from Lockheed Martin, we moved to the beautiful hills of Palo Pinto County just outside of Gordon. We know Palo Pinto County to be the most beautiful and friendly place we have ever lived. Although we are 30-year members of Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, we are regular visitors at First Baptist Gordon. In my spare time I am a founding member of the Palo Pinto County Conservatives, a lifetime member of the NRA, a long-distance cyclist familiar with our back roads, a fan of Texas Red Dirt Country music, and an amateur astronomer familiar with our fantastic dark skies.
